I got so depressed about the Cubs getting swept out of the playoffs (AGAIN!) that I have quit listening to sports radio. Now I’m listening to news about the nation’s financial meltdown and the prospect of Sarah Palin in the White House on NPR as a more cheerful alternative.
Reading:
System of the World, by Neil Stephenson. Third book in the increasingly long Baroque Cycle, which I have come to suspect was not quite worth the effort.
Hearing:
The Best of Rod Stewart. Yeah.
Currently Obsessed With:
Finding more jobs. Or maybe just one really good one.

I hate baseball as well, at least we both have terrible football teams to cheer for. And maybe, I can get you hooked on awful LA Kings hockey. Wow, what else do we have to look foward to…it’s dark when I get up for work and dark when I come home. I surprised I don’t have drinking problem…
